A 60 YEAR OLD Kuwadzana man struck his ex-lover with a brick and smashed her mobile phone punishing her for breaking up with him.
Agrippa Mapurisa is said to have lost his cool days after his girlfriend Martha Maztiza aged 33 broke up with him.
Matiza broke up with him after she realised that he had lied to her that he was a widower when in fact his wife is still alive.
Mapurisa allegedly attached her at her vegetable stall.
That was after Mapurisa had gone to inquire as to why she dumped her.
She told him to go back to his family and that did not go down well with Mapurisa.
He suddenly picked a brick and struck her on the chest and tumbled down.
He grabbed her mobile handset and smashed it and left.
Other vendors rushed to attend to Matiza and a police report was made leading to his arrest.
