Analysts have said the factional and succession wars in Zanu-PF have worsened the performance of the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE).

The local bourse has been on a downward spiral since Zanu-PF's election victory in the 2013 elections, and has lost $250 million in January alone.

Analysts have ascribed Zanu-PF's infighting to the brutal infighting in the governing party, which has dented investor confidence.

Local economist, Vince Musewe said that any economy is indicated by the activity on the stock market.

He also said the current conditions coupled with poor policy making and political instability is affecting investor sentiment at home and abroad.
