Gardener forges payslip to avoid high maintenance

A Harare gardener Elvis Masiya who is said to be genies in forgery was dragged to court by his lover demanding an increase in maintenance money.
Sithole's lover - Mollin Sithole told the court that she does not trust payslips she is continuously shown by Elvis.
She said they are forged in a bid not to pay maintenance.
Sithole went to court seeking upward variation from a mere $30 to $104 each month.
"I want the money to be varied from $30 to $104 because I'm no longer working.
"Elivs had defaulted since last year in December and he does not answer my calls each time I try to reach to him for child support.
"He earns $280 per month but does not want to support his child knowing that my health does not allow me to work.
"I do not trust his pay sip because the last time he came with a forged pay slip of $100 per month" she said.
In response, Elvis said ‘ I am a gardener and earn $100 per month.
"She is lying about my salary because we never stayed together".
Magistrate Trevor Nyatsanza postponed the matter to Thursday.
