Grace Mugabe sympathizers under siege

The Zanu-PF faction linked to Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa is allegedly preparing to launch a media campaign against First Lady Grace Mugabe's supporters.

Sources say that the campaign would be done using Sate Media. Among those targeted for the character assassination are Saviour Kasukuwere, Jonathan Moyo, Makhosini Hlongwane.

A hit list has been compiled by a Mnangagwa faction political action committee, to undermine the credentials of its rivals in the G40, which is rabidly opposed to Vice President Mnangagwa.

Sources say the operation was being spearheaded by a top civil servant who has become a key player in Zanu-PF's succession wars.

Sarah Mahoka is also said to be a target, after she humiliated Mnangagwa publicly.

Meanwhile, Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reportedly demanded an apology from Zanu-PF Women's League secretary for finance Sarah Mahoka after she savaged him in front of hundreds of party supporters shortly before Wednesday's politburo meeting.

The Hurungwe East MP publicly dressed down Mnangagwa and challenged him to speak against your people who are terrorizing us warning that he could risk becoming a victim of his own machinations if he does not public declare his interests to succeed President Robert Mugabe as is widely believed.
