The ZimFirst party leader Maxwell Shumba has cklaimed that he foretold the instability that is currently rocking the ruling Zanu PF before even the former Vice President Joice Mujuru could be expelled from the party.

Shumba said the current situation in Zimbabwe is exactly what he predicted when his party came into existence in late 2014 as Zimbabwe First aka Zimbabwe People First.

"We knew that the removal of Zanu PF from power would not be the ultimate goal. In fact the ultimate goal for all well meaning Zimbabwean political leadership is to provide a clear path to a just, peaceful and prosperous Zimbabwe," Shumba said. "We knew that Zanu PF's heinous acts were unsustainable and sooner or later would implode either aided or unaided it didn't really matter. It would happen and there would be pieces left over to be picked up. We knew Zimbabweans would need to pick up the pieces from the failed state Mugabe regime authored. To pick up the pieces, sort them and utilize them to build a brighter future for Zimbabwe will need preparation: Methodical, Meticulous and Thorough."

He said towards this end in April 2015 they authored into history a people first vision and began earnest preparations.

"First by building a brand name which apparently now everyone wants to expropriate from us. Ever since we came into existence, we have been silently preparing for the future. We like to Bucketize our planning. In one bucket we installed a fully fledged Campaign team dubbed the Final Voice 2018," Shumba said.

"This constitutes men and women who are currently engaged in implementing our brick by brick methodical building process and driving the Silent Revolution's sowing seeds country wide program as the party organically grows a people's grand coalition towards a brighter future. In the second bucket is our grassroots building process in which new party leadership is elected across the country in preparation for the party's political foundation."

Shumba said the third bucket resides their Think Tanks who are spearheading the formation of a first ever Zimbabwean Shadow Government, the ZimFirst Shadow Government.

"When it's time to pick up the pieces ZimFirst will be ready and fully prepared to usher in a new era but for now it's time to continue to work, work, and work. We are not an opposition political party but the next government and towards this end we have to focus on work at hand without being distracted by the self implosion in Zanu PF," he said.

"Our doors are always open to well meaning Zimbabweans who want to make meaningful contributions towards the future of their country. Let me take this opportunity to apologize to anyone who felt offended by my previous post on Joice Mujuru for stealing our name. Please understand that as a party we are indignant but we are apprehensive that there is a bigger job to be done in preparing to pick up the pieces and as such if my post was misinterpreted I am sorry."
