Church now rated as the most tourism puller in Zimbabwe

In the advent of the prophetic Ministries such as the ones led by Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa and Walter Magaya, government of Zimbabwe has recognized the church as tone of the most tourist pullers in Zimbabwe amid revelations foreigners throng the country to seek spiritual remedy to their problems from the prophets hence the country gets foreign currency through such visits.
This was revealed by Tourism and Hospitality Minister Walter Mzembi in parliament when he said the nation has conceived a fully-fledged Domestic Tourism Division within his Ministry whose responsibility is basically to rewrite the Domestic Tourism Policy and take it to the people.
"Products that we have conceived in the last two years since consummation of the National Tourism Policy in 2012 include the now popular religious tourism, liberation enshrinement, historical tourism, cultural tourism and community based tourism enterprises," he said. "Lately, of late, we are going to within the context of the national tourism master plan evolving rural products that will build up to the national tourism product as enshrined within the National Tourism Policy."
