Mnangagwa dumps Mutsvangwa

Sources in Zanu-PF allege that Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has kicked War Veterans Minister Christopher Mutsvangwa under to the curb, in an attempt to save his own skin.

Critics inside Zanu-PF have accused Mnangagwa of failing to protect his supporters at a time they are facing intense attacks from their rival faction in the party.

Mnangagwa is also accused of dumping his backers in 2004, in the aftermaths of the Tsholostho declaration.

This comes after President Mugabe`s televised address to the nation, in which he condemned the infighting and critiscised Christopher Mutsvangwa, a move which watchers say effectively signaled the end of Mutsvangwa's career both in Zanu-PF and in the government.
