'They murdered my husband,' says Mujuru

Former Vice President Joice Mujuru has claimed that her husband Solomon Mujuru was murdered in August 2011.

She revealed this in an interview with UK newspaper, Sunday Times at the weekend.

Mujuru revealed that though she was certain that her husband was murdered, she did not know who had carried out the assignment.

However, a government coroner released a report which ruled out any foul play in Solomon Mujuru's death.

Joice Mujuru disputed the official account of her husband's death and vowed that the truth about what happened would eventually come out.

In the interview, Mujuru alleged that there was a blue flame, almost one-and-a-half meters high, and this was evidence that there was some kind of accelerant in that fire.
