A concerned citizen Washington Zhomwa has written a letter to former vice [president Joice Mujuru thanking her for awakening the hopes of many people by forming an opposition political party which is believed would be able to wrestle power from the President Robert Mugabe led Zanu PF.

Mugabe and his party have ruled the country since independence in 1980 amid concerns that they have run the country down in terms of development and economy.

However Zhomwa's letter reads below:

"Open Letter to Joyce Mujuru and Zimbabwe People First.
Thank you very much for awakening the hope that was killed by Morgan Park Legend Tsvangirai, your coming on board ma'am is the greatest thing to happen to Zimbabwe this year.

I thought l should share with you pitfalls that trapped those who came before you, the likes of Simba Makoni, Morgan Tsvangirai and Lovemore Madhuku, if you fail to navigate these pitfalls, l am afraid my hope will die soon too and you will never rise again.

Madam Mujuru, Zimbabweans don't forgive easily, and your history is tainted by the years you spent in Zanu pf, no matter how you try to do good,Zimbabweans will always see the person they suffered under whilst you were in Zanu pf.My suggestion is that, you need a vibrant, caring and innovative youthful leader to lead the ZPF, and you should take an advisory seat ma'am, don't be like others who came before you who personalised the struggle.

Madam Mujuru, our chiefs, our independence, our heroes will forever be for Zimbabwe, don't alienate yourself from them, the mistake Tsvangirai and Makoni did.

We want to see you at independence, if you can't mingle with Zanu pf, your own celebrations will do.

Madam Mujuru, don't look externally for funding, you will get your arm twisted and it will be difficult to follow the aspirations of the people first, Tsvangirai did fall into that pit.

I wish the ZPF the greatest of success."
