Mugabe's cattle Donation Dirty, Hypocritical-MDC

President Robert Mugabe's donation of 300 cattle to the African Union AU when millions of Zimbabweans are facing starvation and thousands of herd dying smacks of hypocrisy of the highest order, the MDC led by Welshman Ncube has said.
Party' spokesperson Kurauone Chihwayi said the MDC views Mugabe's donation as filthy and insincere because it was done at a time when over 20000 cattle have died throughout the country due to drought and a poorly administered land reform program.
"President Robert Mugabe cannot continue to masquerade as a hero or claim to be an architect of a successfull land reform program when he is actually a perfect example of an incompetent and undemocratic leader," he said.
"The MDC is conscious of the need for African countries to sincerely support programs of the continental body but that should not be done for purposes of diverting the International community from the serious political and economic crisis in Zimbabwe.Mugabe's cattle donation was done in bad faith and Africa should not be distracted by the dishonest donation."
