Harare businessman suing SA haulage company for more than $200k

A Harare businessman is suing a South African haulage company for more than $200 000 after one of its drivers caused a road traffic accident in which the plaintiff's truckload of potatoes was destroyed.
The accident occurred at the 44km peg along the Harare-Mutare highway in March.
Amon Togara wants South African-registered Rollex (Pvt) Limited to pay $144 000 for loss of income, $55 115 for damage to his vehicle, $5 000 for costs he incurred while pursuing the defendant's insurer and 5% interest on all expenses accrued since the legal proceedings began.
