Man jailed for tying father with electric cord on the neck

A 23 YEAR OLD man tied his father on the neck with an electric cord and broke his leg in an argument over $200.
Blessing Ndewere will now spend 15 straight months in jail for his actions.
He was convicted of physical abuse and attempted murder.
The court heard that on October 8 last year, at around 5 pm, Erick Ndewere (Blessing's father) came home and discovered that his $200 was missing and he knew it was his son because he had done it before on several occasions.
Blessing returned home around 10pm and knocked on his father's bedroom where he was sleeping.
Erick armed himself with an electric cable which he used to whip Blessing for disobeying his orders by returning home late.
In retaliation, Blessing fought back and overpowered his dad.
However, guards manning a nearby premise heard Erick cream and rushed in to see what was going on.
They found Blessing assaulting his father and they managed to restrain and apprehended him.
Blessing was taken to the police and arrested.
