Lack of freedom after speech forced Eric Knight to leave ZBC

The former ZBC radio presenter Eric Knight has revealed that he left the national broadcaster because of lack of freedom after expression.
Knight revealed in his Facebook post that a million times he has been asked why precisely he left his colourful job at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation.
"Well in a nutshell, besides some top placed Government officials who were personally jealous and wanted me out there was another issue. As you know me I am not just a 'Tell it as it is person", I am also a 'Tell it as it should be person'. I can never criticise my beloved country and government when things are done as it should be but conversely I can never shower praises when things are being messed up. That's me," Knight said. "The problem was not Freedom of Speech as such, it was Freedom after Speech. God bless Zimbabwe! God bless Africa!"
