Matibenga recognised as women's substance

People's Democratic Party's National Management Committee, National Working Committee, General Council and all party structures has been recognised National Chairperson Lucia Matibenga for her recognition as a 'Woman of Substance' by the party's Women's Assembly on the occasion of the Women's International Day celebrated.
The meeting held by women's assembly on Wednesday accorded the recognition to Matibenga.
Secretary General of the party Gorden Moyo said Matibenga was honoured for her lifetime commitment to human development, gender parity, dignity of labour, civil and political rights as well as political reforms in Zimbabwe.
"The whole PDP family would like to join the Women's Assembly in celebrating our affectionate Mai Matibenga. May God give her more strength, love and wisdom to guide our party to success in the years ahead," he said.
