Tshinga Dube sworn in as the new Minster of War vets

Retired Colonel Tshinga Dube has been appointed new Minister for Welfare Services for War Veterans, War Collaborators, Ex-Political Detainees and Restrictees.
Dube, who replaces Christopher Mutsvangwa recently suspended for the next three years, was sworn in at State House on Saturday afternoon.
Previously, Retired Colonel Dube was Mutsvangwa's deputy in the ministry.
Dube took oath of loyalty in front of President Robert Mugabe.
After the swearing in ceremony, Minister Dube, who was accompanied by his daughter Zwile Mabhena and his granddaughter went outside for a photo session with the President and the Chief Secretary to the President Dr Misheck Sibanda.
Dube said his task is to unite the more than 34 000 war veterans and several affiliate associations.
Minister Dube revealed that the proposed meeting for war veterans which had been postponed to next week might be delayed further.
Former minister of the war veterans portfolio Christopher Mutsvangwa was suspended for three years for gross misconduct and indiscipline.
