Tsvangirai resumes meet the people rallies

MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai is today scheduled to resume countrywide rallies to reconnect with his support base following reports that former Vice-President Joice Mujuru's newly formed Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) had made significant inroads in MDC-T and Zanu-PF strongholds.

MDC-T spokesperson Obert Gutu confirmed that Tsvangirai had this weekend lined up a number of rallies in Mashonaland East province.

Although the party has been boycotting by-elections since last year demanding electoral reforms, it has indicated that it will contest the 2018 harmonized elections.
