Independent (Friday October 21) says a battle is looming within Zanu-PF over the 2 positions of vice-president as it becomes increasingly clear that a draft constitution expected to emerge from the current constitution making process is going to recommend that the country's national executive structure must have a president and a vice president running the government.
Tensions in Zanu-PF over President Mugabe's successor are likely to escalate after disclosures that Copac's expected draft constitution would say there should be a president and deputy president, changing the current arrangement of 2 vice presidents.
