Kasukuwere moves to contain Masvingo fissures

Saviour Kasukuwere Zanu-PF national political commissar yesterday addressed a stormy provincial meeting in Masvingo where he reportedly ordered party members aligned to Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa's faction to stop boycotting meetings organized by acting provincial chairperson Amassa Nenjana.

It is said the committee refused to recognize Nenjana, accusing Kasukuwere of imposing him in breach of the party's constitution. Contacted for comment, Kasukuwere said he had come to check if the PCC members are working for the party.
