Mthwakazi Republic Party secretary general Hloniphani Ncube has said his party has no plans to take party in Zimbabwe elections co0nsidering the fact that it is fighting for an independent Matabeleland state.

He said there has been as to why his party seem to be issuing statements always.

"Mthwakazi Republic Party do not intend to participate in the elections of Zimbabwe due to the fact that we are not a political party of Zimbabwe rather we are under the Zimbabwean hegemony, of which it is against our self determination as a once independent society that lived a far better life than under the Mugabe regime," he said.

"However, because of the fact that our party is founded on the principles of the rule of law, observation of human rights without compromise and democracy among other fundamental components of a healthy society, we intend to participate soon in elections under an independent Mthwakazi, supervised by an independent electoral body."

He said they have undertaken this resolution because Zimbabwe has a history of unfair elections which have seen the tyranny ruling for thirty five years and wishing to extend the rule in spite of strong resistance against his brutal government.

"This same dictator is on record citing that, this country did not come through a ballot paper, which simple means he and his cronies are not in a position to apply the principles of democracy hence the approach of taking power from these people is clear to a reasoning political institution," Ncube said.

"As a political party we have viable mechanism of freeing our people and reaching to the dream of democracy just like any other free societies around the world. Furthermore as a political party, we will not wait for freedom to address the pertinent issues that are affecting our communities."

Ncube said thus why they have gone around all public institutions of Zimbabwe operating in their country telling them to be in order for them to survive in their land.

"The critical areas that would be addressed soon is the issue of teachers who are deployed in our country but without the understanding of local languages, which is the implementation of the 1979 grand plan, the issue of this nonsense termed the national pledge, the health sector, the Gukurahundi reburials and other critical areas that need immediate attention," he said.

"As a party, we have a strong feeling that we cannot just watch ZANU PF making Mthwakazi a play ground. In the first place we do not need officials from Zimbabwe to address the Mthwakazi issues because we are not one in reality. We thank our people in all the sectors and sections for resoundingly supporting the cause."

Ncube said Mthwakazi independence is a reality in generation. He said Zimbabwe government have a poverty demon which saw their leader calling for the sanctions that people have experienced for the past fifteen years up to date, and the situation has been normalized to the vulnerable citizens in the name of being educated which is questionable especially after the introductions of (Robert) Mugabe policies in the education sector, with the latest curriculum that cements the dictatorial life span.
