Villagers in Gwanda's Nhwali area have complained over the attitude displayed by the nursing staff at Nhwali Rural Health Centre saying they ignore patients even if they come with emergence situations.
A villager who visited the clinic on Friday March 25 with a child who had fallen ill over night said when they arrived with the child at the Centre at around 8am a nurse told them that the Centre will be open at around 9am but even after 9am they were kept waiting and the nurse left them at the clinic saying she was going some where.
"This is a Centre that is supposed to be helping villagers even in times of emergence and when we come with a child seriously ill a nurse keeps us waiting without even caring what can happen," said the villager who only identified himself as Dube.
"We want this nonsense stopped because these nurses are here to help us not to frustrate it."
Efforts to contact contact Nhwali clinic's administration were fruitless.
