A political commentator Allan Wenyikaā€ˇ has claimed that Zanu PF has not stolen the $15 billion for diamonds that President Robert Mugabe said disappeared but was keeping the money somewhere in store for its terror campaigns ahead of the 2018 elections.
President Mugabe during his birth day interview with ZBC TV in February said $15 billion disappeared from the diamonds sale, the remarks which sparked condemnation that he and his ministers were either sleeping on duty of are the ones who corruptly stole the money.
"Zanu-PF did not steal our diamonds. They just banked the money somewhere until 2018. They will use that money to terrorize or trick the masses into voting for them again," he said. "If that fails, they plan to bribe Morgan Tsvangirai (MDC-T leader) again to donate his win to them. Unfortunately, they don't know that in 2018 Tsvangirai will be tucked away in the dustbin of Zimbabwe's history in the 'Dzakaita Mukurumbira' section of history."
He advised Zanu-PF to return those billions of dollars now and avert massive hunger. People are beginning to starve to death
