President Robert Mugabe who seems to be playing an old record has promised the war veterans land a rhetoric that has been sang since independence in 1980.

He how ever seemed to be accusing the war veterans of becoming undisciplined when he said, "If you were disciplined during the war, you should continue to do that after the war. You should respect your elders…"

"Our party used to have a strong ideology…war vets did not fight for financial gains..but independence,"he said.

He promised land to war veterans.
"There are still white farms that we can chase away…After realizing there was a lot corrupt activities going on in the allocation of land…all applications for land will now come to my office.." he said.

This would leave many who have looked in the way how the land has been distributed doubting if Mugabe was genuine in his promise to the war veteran as it is now 36 years since the Zanu PF came into power and war veterans were still struggling to survive.
