An MDC-T senior official Job Sikhala has promised the people that Zimbabwe will rise against after government is taken over by his party from the detector ship of Zanu PF and President Robert Mugabe.
"Yes our generation shall witness the beauty of our country. Curse shall vanish and everyone shall wonder whether it is the same Zimbabwe of shortages. We shall all enjoy the fruits of a country that shall be competing with the best in the world," Sikhala said. "All countries that went through an ignorant and stupid dictatorship went through the same route we are going through. It's downfall ignites wild celebrations on every corner of the country."
He said concentrating on trivialities like what bro friend Brighton Musonza does to rubbish those who are braving it from the forefront as lacking the intellectual capability to run what they are fighting for is taking insults against those who have sacrificed life and limp to liberate our country too far.
"Those who think they have more intellectual muscle to run the state of affairs must table their dream line up for Zimbabwe and take the challenge to the dictator. I have known many people close and distant who claim the capabilities which they don't possess. They see in themselves through their self delusional egos the panacea for our country," he said. "Those whom they rubbish have braved it all and deserve decency. Zimbabwe need all of us Brighton Musonza including you who is insulting and rubbishing us from your comfort of London supporting Arsenal even in lose and humiliation as if the winning or losing of Arsenal gives the people of Zimbabwe bread and butter."
Musonza had posted on Facebook commenting on Sikhala's post questioning the quality around MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai on the basis of what was announced last week as Shadow cabinet.
"My views then still stand tall as the last Christmas tree we had here four months ago during the festive," Musonza said. "However; little did I know that my views irked prominent MDC biggies including national executive functionary Sikhala such that he raised a massive rebuttal post on his wall; me being the target. There are many factual inaccuracies in Wiwa's post because I never said the quality and competencies necessary to turn around Zimbabwe should or can only come from intellectuals."
He said he is of the view that to supplement to its core trade unionists, the MDC should recruit from many people of different professional backgrounds and those experienced business executives and industrialists, farmers, skilled artisans and craftsmen, bankers, research experts, media practitioners etc.
"I am more inclined to support your MDC than any other party out there but I am a very independent man and I don't do active party business. I don't jump with common spirits and I am a firm believer in value from criticism and most important; I won't be shaken by cheap political gymnastics. You may not like it but you got used to it; I praise and defend the movement when I find good things and shoot from the hip when I find bad stuff."
He said last elections MDC-T had a very good JUICE blue print but failed to articulate it to the electorate because it had no human resources depth in talent to do so.
"Ahead of and after every elections, Zanu PF has stronger penetrative media channels that dominate global electronic news wire agencies like Reuters, AP etc because they tap from their loyal media practitioners and hence when an election is stolen the opposition lose global traction; because you don't have media people around you," he said. "Morgan is more than likely to form the next government but surely does he have men and women to help him turn things around?"
