A Political analyst Allan Wenyika has claimed that there are too many thieves who are buried at the national Heroes acre in Harare and quite a number of people who are undeserving were laid to rest at the shrine just because they are in Zanu PF.
The remarks came following the declaration of Vivian Mwashita as a national heroine whom Wenyika say she does not deserve to be laid there.
Some of the people whom some sections of Zimbabweans say do not deserve to be at the national heroes acre are Border Gezi, Chenjerai Hunzvi among others.
"The late Vivian Mwashita once claimed to be 94% disabled, earning herself Z$579 091.00 in compensation. Her death increased her disability to 100%. And for that she gets national heroine status. Someone needs to drive a bulldozer and raze down the National Heroes' Acre. Too many thieves and murderers are buried there," said Wenyika.
