Zanu PF trusted spin-doctor Professor Jonathan Moyo has made sensational claims linking former vice president Joice Mujuru to the missing $15 billion diamond revenue.

Moyo suggested on his twitter account that there might be evidence linking Mujuru with the missing funds.

He wrote "Careful.Your embattled leader supervised economy ministries & is part of the $15bn Chiadzwa story. Watch this space".

On Thursday opposition MDC-T stage protests in Harare aimed at demanding the 2,2 million new jobs espoused in the governing party's "pie-in-the-sky" 2013 election manifesto, as well as seeking answers following Mugabe's recent claim that $15 billion had been stolen from the Chiadzwa diamond mining fields.

This was the first massive protest by MDC-T in recent years.

According to reports, workers at diamond mining companies that were operating at Chiadzwa say there were high chances of pilferage of the precious mineral which could have resulted in the country losing about $15 billion.

President Mugabe revealed last month during his 92nd birthday interview with the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation that the country received less than $2 billion out of a possible $15 billion from the Chiadzwa diamonds where more than five companies were licensed to operate.
