A political analyst Mukai Ndavaringaā€ˇ has said the successful demonstration conducted by the MDC-T showed that peaceful protests can be done and all the negative remarks by critiques that it was a smoke screen.
"Most Political Pundits believe the MDC-T demonstrations of April 14 dubbed (MOAD) Mother Of All Demonstration played a pivotal role in exonerating the Zimbabwean Government of Human rights abuse accusations from the international Community," he said. "MDC-T supporters were not attacked , stopped or even insulted by Zimbabwe Republic Police and Zimbabwe National Army while demanding the 2,2 millions jobs and answers to the $15 Billion said to be missing from Chiadzwa diamonds by President Mugabe ...that on it's own convinced the International Community that peaceful demonstration can go undisturbed by the army and the police in Zimbabwe."
He said the demonstrators who were holding placards some written Old clueless Mugabe must go-etc were seen interacting with the Police something that shocked the International Community given Zimbabwe's Human Rights Record
"Most people claim that if such peaceful demos continue to take place the Country will have harmonised Elections," he said.
