Jestina Mukoko talks about her ordeal under Mugabe regime

As Zimbabweans commemorated independence day yesterday, human rights activists have called on president Robert Mugabe's government to ensure the protection, promotion and fulfillment of the rights to freedom of expression in that country.
Jestina Mukoko, a prominent television presenter turned human rights activist, says she knows first-hand how brutal the regime can be. In 2008 ordeal she was taken to a torture base and put in solitary confinement for 19 days.
Security forces tried to force her to admit to recruiting the youth for military training in Botswana, to remove President Robert Mugabe from power.
