Mugabe grandson qualifies for dual citizenship

President Robert Mugabe's first grandson born outside the country, qualifies for dual citizenship, it has emerged.

Constitutional law expert Alex Magaisa said the grandson, whose name is yet to be made public, under the existing laws would qualify for both Singaporean and Zimbabwean citizenship.

Magaisa said this meant that the same child would qualify under the jus soli, the law of the soil which is the most common law of citizenship.
