ZLHR conduct sponsored walk to donate adult rape clinic

The Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights to day conducts conduct a sponsored walk in Harare to raise funds to donate to the adult rape clinics.
The organanisation said the sponsored walk which takes place on Friday the 22nd of April 2016 at 2pm starting and ending at the Hellenic Sports Club on Henry Chapman Road.
"The club is next door to Chapman Golf Club just off Samora Machel Avenue. We will begin to gather at the sports club at 1pm for us to be ready to commence the walk at 2pm. A 5km route has been mapped and will be shared with you," said the ZLHR. "We encourage you to come to the walk clad in the ZLHR colours - Yellow, Blue or Green. If you have a ZLHR t-shirt from a previous activity that would be even better! We have decided to donate the funds collected to the Adult Rape Clinic based at Parirenyatwa Hospital."
The organisation said it is convinced that the clinic provides an excellent service and is facing closure due to lack of funding to support its operations and hence our donation could possibly keep them going for a few months.
"We would therefore really like to encourage you to all come out in your numbers to increase our visibility and also really make a big effort to give back to our community. With the sponsored walk just some few days away please do contact our office to let us know if you would like to participate in the walk or just to give a donation," ZLHR.
