Fighting at the Zano Remba Housing Co-operative in Chitungwiza Harare has reportedly disrupted the project of 9 500 home seekers making them lose their stands in the process.
Kalisto Masango a councillor in the area said the developments were very sad and were machinations by a former co-operative chairman Christopher Chigumba to pursue egoistic interests at the expense of members of the co-opetrative who have lost out on their stands years after making contributions.
Among those who lost out on the stands deal were members of the uniformed forces and about 3 000 soldiers lost stands.
Masango urged those who have stands to register with the Chitungwiza council so as to avoid losing their stands.
