Good evening fellow Zimbabweans its that time again, Nhau naBrett Mu Vet In a slight change to the normal episode where we discuss one topic, today we will discuss a few topics although in brief.

When you see your president saluting his own portrait at the recent independence day celebrations, you must know things are going downhill fast. Im not sure what he was trying to do, but it just showed us how much he loves himself basically.

The issue of independence affects many citizens differently. Some say Zimbabwe was much better for them under Smith as at least most people had a job, food and could attend a school or go to a hospital. Well Pfidza and I do agree that some things were good under the former colonial regime, however the blatant racisim, not being allowed to walk freely in your birth country, not being able to live in certain areas, or attend certain schools or universities and not even using the same public toilets, were definitely not kind to the majority and had to be changed.

Independence celebrations are exactly that, a day we think of those who sacrificed a lot for us to be all equals. I personally wasn't even 2 years old, but some of my primary school teachers at Frank Johnson were former Freedom fighters- Not these mercenaries we have these days who just want to be paid for their "sacrifices- im talking of real men and woman who fought for genuine equality, they told me some harrowing stories of their experience at the time, and those that never made it. These are the people we remember and realize that independence is not a Junta or Opposition owned event, it's a Zimbabwean event, and as Zimbabweans we can possibly admit we are not in a good place right now, but we can now unite as Zimbabweans of all colors, as equals, to fight this new Junta. That's what independence means.

These endless demonstrations, one man demos or mass demos what is the stories behind them? What amazes Pfidza and I is that the entire time before the demos, the participants shout and scream against the Junta, run and hide from Junta riot police, however on the weekends you attend functions and braais of the Junta, helping them in participating in Adverts and roundtables with the same people who beat you.

What do you speak about when you guys meet? Do those who were beaten show off your scars and bruises? Do you get beaten on Wednesdays and then meet at the local pub on Thursday to watch the soccer? Ask yourselves fellow servants, if it was you who was beaten, or you whose brother, mother, spouse was beaten, abducted, killed and you knew who was responsible, would you really become friends with them, or entertain them or even speak to them socially or in business?

They say in politics there is no permanent enemies just permanent interests. And that is why you see a totally compromised opposition in Zimbabwe. So much so that one starts to assume they get beaten like a WWF wrestler where it looks bad, but really isn't doing much. They even look like heros!!! A HERO DOESN'T DO BUSINESS WITH THE JUNTA, NOR DOES HE OR SHE ASSOCIATE WITH THEM IN ANY FORM WHATSOEVER.

The grandchild of the president has arrived!!! Born in Singapore. Have you ever heard of a presidents grandson born in a foreign country when the president loudly claims that all is well at home and the hospitals are working fine? Just in case though, lets go 5000km away and give birth there. Jeez there is simply no shame left in that family. And its not even 2 months ago he spent over $800 000 on his birthday.

A local bar frequented by War Vets was blown up. Not even 1 person was injured, but apparently a lot of beers were destroyed. Would you really set a bomb off at 4am when you know for a fact the bar closes at 12midnight? What exactly are you wanting to blow up? Fridges? You see we know the strategies of this Junta, blowing their own stuff up so they can blame it on the opposition. They even murder their own members and blame it on opposition. Theres no story here, they just after publicity as the people no longer like them. Just last month they were sprayed with tear gas by their very own Government run by fellow war vets.

There is a new group called G16-32…… Guys lets be honest, as junta members, you cannot under any circumstances demonstrate against your own Junta! Ever heard of a company owner who complains about things that happen in his own company under his ownership? You guys are the reason we are in this mess. Stop trying to pretend you are fighting for democracy, stop trying to tag along in opposition initiatives.

If you can see your Junta has failed, THEN REMOVE YOURSELF FROM IT. Don't pretend to shout against violence, theft and corruption but when given the chance to speak up in your own Junta, you all of a sudden start shivering like a fake war vet who just got nailed by Tear gas. And if you are an opposition member or leader, stop seeking out Junta members to do programs with. You cant expect the Junta to allow you to do things to remove itself from power. Stop thinking about your permanent interests and rather think about how to free Zimbabwe.

For Zimbabwe For the People.
