Botswana seeks to increase trade with Zimbabwe

Botswana has expressed interest in increasing bilateral trade with Zimbabwe despite policy differences between the two southern African countries.

This comes as Botswana has in the past strongly differed with its neighbour over President Robert Mugabe's iron rule that has stifled democracy.

However these differences the BITC said it was mapping various ways including participating at business shows to improve trade between the two countries, which averages $150 million yearly.
