Zimbabwe teledensity increase by 94%

The expansion of the mobile telecommunications sector has resulted in the country's teledensity increasing by 94% since the adoption of the multi-currency system 2 years ago.

Official statistics produced by the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe show that teledensity currently stands at 68%, up from 49% last year.
