Sunday Mail claims he Daily News received $206 000 to buy a printing press and digital voice recorders from a local company believed to be a front of the US aid organisation USAid.
Unnamed sources say the company Casals and Associates Zimbabwe, which is operating illegally in Zimbabwe with claims it is locally owned, is run by the Americans with its main agenda being distabilising Zimbabwe ahead of the forthcoming elections through various political programmes.
Meanwhile Daily News describes the Sunday Mail report as false and a "pathetic and embarrassing piece of propaganda".
