British connived with Mugabe to cheat Nkomo- Mthwakazi Republic Party

Mthwakazi Republic Party President Mqondisi Moyo has claimed that President Robert Mugabe and the British connived to cheat then PF Zapu leader Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo in the 1980 elections.
Moyo was speaking when he handed a grocery donation to the ex-Zipra cadre David Moyo in Emganwini in Bulawayo.
He said PF Zapu led by Nkomo was formed in 1961 where Mugabe and the likes of Inos Nkala were members before they split from the party to form their Zanu PF at Nkala's house in Highfields Harare.
""I had a time to ssit with Nkala before he died and i asked him why he caused the killing of our 20 000 people in Matabeleland and Midlands during Gukurahundi," Moyo said. "He only told me that he is the one who made Nkomo to lose against Mugabe in 1980."
Moyo said it was sad that in all political organisations formed by the people of Mashonaland it was sad that people from Matabeleland would assist those organisations to gain ground in the region.
He said there is nothing which has been formed by the Eastern people which has no contributions from people of Matabeleland.
"If you look at the formation of Zanu PF it was aided by Nkala from this region, in the formation of MDC, though Gibson Sibanda was the president of Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions, he was made to second Morgan Tsvangirai. When the MDC split and Welshman Ncube led the factional party but when going for the 2008 elections, he called Mutambara all the way from Mashonaland to led the party and the party won ten seats in this party while Mutambara just came in the party with nothing from his provinces," he said.
He also said in the 2008 election Dumiso Dabengwa of Zapu preferred to call Simba Makoni to support him in the polls and that shows that people of this region always regard themselves or are regarded as second fiddle to people form Mashonaland provinces. He Makoni got 8% which all was from Matabeleland.
Moyo said tit was a lie that there has been no party that has been powerful against Mugabe and Zanu PF besides MDC.
Moyo said he has not heard of any party that lost more than 20 000 people other than PF Zapu. He said the killing of those people showed that PF Zapu was the most powerful party which shock Mugabe's authority.
"I have never heard that the MDC lost even more than 300 people through killings by Zanu PF," he said.
