A HARARE woman, Prudence Kwaramba (22) has been declared missing after she was convinced by an unknown man to follow him from her house in Snake Park.

Kwaramba who was almost six months pregnant, was last seen at her house at number 6734 Grenary in Snake Park on October 22 at around 3:30pm.

A police report of a missing person has since been filed at Marimba Police Station.

Kwaramba had eloped to her boyfriend, Kudzanayi Mukurunyorova in June after discovering she was pregnant.

Her sister-in-law, Ms Agnes Mushara, who was present at the house when Kwaramba disappeared, said she did not see the person who took her away.

Ms Mushara told the police that she heard much of the conservation between the unidentified man and Kwaramba, although she did not come out of the house.

She said the stranger told Kwaramba that her husband had approached him looking for a plot.

The man told her that the plot that her husband wanted had been found.

He also indicated that he was failing to get hold of Kwaramba's husband, prompting him to come and fetch her so that she could have a look at the plot.

Kwaramba initially refused to follow the stranger, arguing that there was enough space for ploughing at their residence.

But the man insisted that she should come with him and Kwaramba proceeded to her sister-in-law's bedroom to get her slippers and bid her farewell.

Kwaramba followed the man and that was the last time she was seen.

She was last seen wearing a brown sleeveless blouse, black skirt and slippers.

Kwaramba is of medium built, of average height, brown in complexion and has a scar on her right leg.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kwaramba can contact her family on the following numbers: 0733 940 718 or 0775 597 254 or 0772 470 292.

They can also contact Marimba Police Station or any nearest police station.
