DJ Sbu comes to Zimbabwe to promote Mofaya

POPULAR South African musician, radio and TV personality DJ Sbu (real name Sibusiso Leope) is expected in the country this week where he is scheduled to promote his energy drink; Mofaya.
The star is expected in the country on Saturday where he will launch the energy drink in Harare before jetting into Bulawayo on Sunday where he will hold a number of promotional activities inclusive of signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
Harare-based businessman, Chamu Chiwanza recently struck a deal with DJ Sbu to distribute the energy drink in the country. Confirming the intended promotional events, DJ Sbu in a video recording said he was looking forward to meeting his Zimbabwean fans and further to promote his energy drink.
"Hello Zimbabwe. This is DJ Sbu straight out of Johannesburg, South Africa. I am shooting my TV show at CNB Africa Studio in Sandton, Johannesburg. I am looking forward to meet you all in Zimbabwe on 21 May where I will be joining Dr Chamu Chiwanza to launch my energy drink in Bulawayo and Harare. I am really looking forward to meet and interact with Dr Chiwanza where I want to learn a lot from him, hope to see you soon," said DJ Sbu.
Sunday Life caught up with Bulawayo based businessman, Reginald Shoko, who has been appointed as the distributor for the Southern region who said all was in place for the launch in Bulawayo.
He said the popular energy drink will be promoted at the Bulawayo Centre, Entumbane complex and Nkulumane's Sekusile Shopping Centre.
"DJ Sbu is certainly coming to the city. However, this time he won't be coming for any showbiz or performance, he is coming to promote and market his energy drink called Mofaya. As the distributers for the Southern region, we have lined up a string of events where he will be promoting it at a local supermarket at the Bulawayo Centre, Entumbane complex and Sekusile Shopping Centre. As part of the festivities DJ Sbu will be signing autographs and posing for pictures with his fans together with the energy drink," said Shoko.
He said lucky fans will also walk away with a number of prizes.
DJ Sbu launched his energy drink in 2014.
The energy drink has been launched and is being sold in some of the South African Countries that include South Africa, Botswana and Swaziland.
