Amagugu International Heritage Centre host inaugural Traditional Food and Beverages Expo

Amagugu International Heritage Centre on Saturday hosted the  inaugural Traditional Food and Beverages Expo according reports.

Butholezwe Kgosi Nyathi posted on his Facebook wall that Amagugu International Heritage Centre hosted the inaugural Traditional Food and Beverages Expo on the 14th of May 2016.

"Exhibitors were local Matobo women farmers. Corporate exhibitors were Icrisat, Arenel and Delta Beverages - institutions that have added value to traditional food and beverages!" he said.

"A total of 326 people passed through the gates on the day. 102 of those people were to set a new record as we went for an interactive sunset drumming session on a local mountain."

He said local Matobo women farmers derived value from the Expo as their produce and prepared food was purchased by guests on the day.

"A hearty thank you to all stakeholders - see you again same time next year!" he said posted.
