Mugabe sneaks back into the country

THERE was neither a rally nor the usual gathering of ministers and other senior underlings as President Robert Mugabe sneaked back into the country from Singapore Tuesday night.

Top aides including service chiefs usually gather at Harare airport to welcome Mugabe back from his regular foreign travels with a rally often staged for supporters.

Sources claim that Mugabe went straight to his private residence after arrival, ahead of the million-men march in his honour to be staged by Zanu PF youths.
