A political analyst Bekezela Maduma Fuzwayo has expressed reservations over opposition parties who tried to belittle Zanu PF one million march conducted in Harare on Wednesday saying his observations in Matopo proved that quite a large number of people still love the veteran leader.

"Am really surprised we have opposition leaders trying to belittle Mugabe March of yesterday. Whether those people were forced or coerced to be in Harare, its of no relevance," Fuzwayo said.

"What matters and should be of a concern is that Zanu PF went out with a point to prove and by any standard its point proven and to the world that Zimbabweans love Mugabe. I was in Maphisa on Tues on business and saw people stampede to get into a bus for Harare. More than another bus load was left behind."

"We asked one chap who was left behind why he was angry and why he wanted to go in the first place. The young man thought we were mad asking that."

He said he picked up a very good lesson, there is indeed a great number of people who love Mugabe and Zanu PF.

"Its serious naivety for opposition parties to live in false glory and believe that Zanu PF is dead. That march was genuine and was no small number of people at all," he said.

"The march is a wake up call for opposition parties to put heads together and build a strong opposition. No need to belittle this."
