Some extreme weather has hit Lower Gweru in Zimbabwe's midlands region
Gweru (lower) and other midlands areas have been hit by a horrific snow storm, villagers have complained.
This first of firsts in Zimbabwe's recorded history.
the images were apparently taken early in the morning on Saturday 28 May, and the snow could have in fact been sleet-like hail that fell overnight since it appears tightly packed in the images.
While scepticism is rife, other reports indicate that if the photos have been doctored, they've been very well done showing typical Zimbabwe landscape.
