Dzamara captivity images released

THE family of abducted political activist Itai Dzamara on Monday released images they insisted showed the anti-President Robert Mugabe campaigner in detention, adding that "incontestable evidence" proved he was taken by military intelligence.

On Monday, his brother Patson Dzamara told journalists that they had secured evidence proving that Itai was abducted by military intelligence under the instruction of President Mugabe and his closest allies.

Patson also released to journalists, images apparently showing Itai in captivity.

The younger Dzamara said individuals from within the ruling Zanu-PF establishment volunteered to the family information regarding Itai's abduction as well as "why and where he was being kept".
