Married man attacks student over sex

A college female student in Bulawayo - Tariro Karanda nearly lost her right eye after being attacked for turning down a sexually advances.
Karanda was assaulted by Cliff Dexter Tshuma who is married.
The incident happened at a birthday party on April 30.
Tshuma had approached Karanda on several occasions demanding sex.
Out of anger, Tshuma picked an empty beer bottle and struck Karanda on the right eye.
He fled the scene.
Tshuma had gatecrushed the party.
In court, he pleaded not guilty and remanded out of custody to June 10.
He is on a $50 bail.
