Mthwakazi Liberation Front has said the exclusion of Matabeleland South and North from the local government bill hearing is ironically a good move by the government of Zimbabwe to show that the region is not in Zimbabwe but should be allowed to be a separate state of Mthwakazi to run its own affairs.

Party's Bulawayo spokesperson Ndabezihle Fuyane said Mthwakazi state has been there before this Zimbabwe so the heavily marginalised state has her affairs to talk about.

In this case there are many projects that have been stall led simply because we are dissidents according to President Robert Mugabe," he said. " Mthwakazians must not be moved by this neither should they be dismayed by the genocide Gukurahundi atrocities. Let Zimbabwean government to  what is best to them. The failure to attend to various projects in this region by Zimbabwe government, the insults that we are not educated, the alleged biased sentiments that we are cowards and the looting of our natural resources to mention but a few are the clear  indication that we are nothing but the marginalised and oppressed state."

Fuyane said this calls for the restoration process  advocated by the MLF which alll Mthwakazians are aware of, hence the need to stand up against the Zanu PF grand plan of 1979 which seeks to totally  pollute the region.

"Following the MLF objectives chiefly restoration process of Jameson line of 1891, breaking the chains of oppression, cultural Independence to mention the  few, we  therefore call for oneness in freei9ng ourselves. Freedom is at our finger tips, we can make it, united as a state we can make it, divided the shonas pollute our sovereign region," he said.
