Police identify two sexually abused girls

The Zimbabwe Republic Police have identified two the girls who were sexually abused by a suspected Harare man who allegedly posed as a soldier in pictures that have gone viral on social media.

Police have stepped up investigations into the sexual abuse case following the disturbing images of child sexual molestation currently circulating on the social media.

ZRP national spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said the police have made some inroads with two of the girls who are key witnesses now identified and assisting in the investigations.

Senior Assistant Commissioner Charamba applauded members of the public for assisting in the identification of the girls.

Police are still appealing to the members of the public to assist with any information which may lead to the arrest of the perpetrator.
