Mujuru invades Harare, faces immense scrutiny

Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) leader former Vice-President of Zimbabwe, Joice Mujuru takes her rallies to Harare this weekend to 'sell her party brand'.

Mujuru held her first rally as opposition leader on Saturday in Bulawayo attracting a capacity crowd at Stanley Square.

Since politics is a game of numbers, her popularity will come under immense scrutiny in Harare.

ZimPF Provincial Spokesperson Retired Colonel Kudzai Mbudzi briefly told Bulawayo24.com in Bulawayo that Mujuru will hold rallies in all provinces.

"Mujuru has started holding rallies.

"The next rally is in Harare on 26 June followed by Masvingo on 6 July

"Mashonaland East gets a chance to meet her on 8 July and Manicaland (July 9 then travel to Matabeleland North( July 13), in Mashonaland Central (July 15) Midlands, Mashonaland West (July 20) and then head to Matabeleland South on July 23.

Mbudzi said the party does not believe in bussing people to rallies.

"People expect to see what numbers we will be able to pull since politics is definitely a game of numbers.

"However people should take not that we do not believe in bussed people".

However, during introductions on Saturday, a Masvingo coordinator said came wire more than 100 party supporters 'to support Bulawayo'.
