A political commentator Obert Mundevere Ncubeā has commended the people in Bulawayo for being tolerant to former Vice President Joice Mujuru by overwhelmingly attending her rally on Saturday despite the fact that she worked in Zanu PF which caused the killing of over 20 000 people in Midlands and Matabalelena during the Gukurahundi.
Ncube said when he heard that the First ZimPF would be in Bulawayo he thought to that after the genocide where President Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF committed in Midlands and Matebeleland, people will sabotage and take tribal lines given the fact some leaders came from Zanu PF.
"I was wrong. I Never thought people of my DNA and tribe and origin are so civilised. Zimbabwe, Africa and the world must learn something about tolerance from Bulawayo and it's surrounding citizens in the suburbs and villages," Ncube said.
"Siyabonga Bulawayo. Tinotenda Bulawayo. Thank you Bulawayo. You are the biggest stars and you deserve Golden Trophies in a new ZimPF Government."
He said Bulawayo has shown the People of Zimbabwe that God can make ways and paths where there is no road.
"The people are happy attending in their thousands without being bussed, beaten up to attend and promised beer, wine and food. May God bless Dr. Joice Mujuru, the People of Zimbabwe across all political parties and religion, races and nationalities, business was as usual ,not closed for everyone to attend as we see with the ruling out party," he said. "This is just the beginning."
Shadreck Takawira said when Solomon Mujuru was assassinated they were already in separation with the former Vice President.
"It is being said that she was thrown out of Zanu PF because she was involved in corrupt deals and dishonest she was charged with incompetent as a vice president," he said. "But all these are lies its political engineering where they play false characters so that they complete their mission. She is the first that Zanu PF is planning to hand over power to come 2018 elections... Mark ,my words."
Mazisi Zikode said Bulawayo people are just a bunch of people without leadership.
"Only recently they voted for MDC-T and got nothing. Now they have leapt to show support for a Zanu PF faction. In some countries they would call this political prostitution," he said.
