A Political commentator Esau Milanzi‎  has hailed some MDC-T legislators for strongly representing the electorate in parliament saying they always make sure that they make arguments on behalf of the people's interests in the lower house.

Milanzi singled out the MPs such as Thabitha Khumalo of Bulawayo East, Nelson Chamisa of Kuwadzana and James Maridai of Tafara Mavhuku in Harare

"Some MPs are just a marvel when it comes to carrying the people's concerns and aspirations into Parliament. Thabitha Khumalo alongside other MPs like Nelson Chamisa and James Maridadi ranks among Zimbabwe's finest," Milanzi said.

"One is immediately reminded of the fiery Sydney Malunga (who, if my memory still serves me right, died after his car had a collision with a "black dog." God rest his soul)."

"Let's face it, beyond the Ford Rangers, fuel coupons and the nice leaves of the greenbacks that MPs are entitled to, some MPs are just bench-warmers at a time when parents in Zimbabwe are struggling to pay fees for their children and some institutions are insisting that students owing fees cannot write their exams," he added.

He said  in an environment where parents are able to pay but chooses not to, then one can understand but then Zimbabweans are a people under siege from all fronts.

"My own Gracia is pursuing a science degree at Midlands State University (yes, I am proudly a product of Goromonzi High School myself and think highly of MSU) and I know how much the parents with students there struggle which unfortunately has given rise to prostitution," he said.

"Thabitha Khumalo sought clarification on government policy with regards to the barring of students from writing exams because they owe fees. In response, the deputy minister of Higher, Tertiary Education, Science, and Technology Dr Godfrey Gandawa clearly stated that "All students must write their exams whilst they look for the fees." Thank you TK for fighting for the cause of those state of incapacitation is not one of their own making. Together we can and together we will."
