Zimbabweans splash $1 billion on imports

Zimbabweans spent a collective $1,1 billion in the first five months of this year importing various items.
Latest official figures from Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) shows that 80% of the imports are consumable foreign commodities.
Most of the goods are from South Africa.
