Carl Joshua Ncube will on the 17th to the 23rd of August try to achieve the impossible. The comedian recently had the GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS approve his application to #BreakTheWorldRecord for
"The Most Number of Comedy Gigs in 7 days".
The current record was set by an Australian comedian in 2009 and is 30 comedy gigs performed in 30 venues in 7 days. Carl Joshua Ncube who is Zimbabwe's BIGGEST COMEDY export will attempt to do a staggering 35 shows in 35 venues in 12 cites in 4 countries over 7 days a feat that will see the comedian perform an average of 5 comedy shows per day. The comedian has launched a campaign appealing for sponsors to come on board the project in the following areas
Charter Flight (Byo to Victoria Falls)
Helicopter (Victoria Falls)
Boat Cruise (ZAMBEZI)
Branded Vehicles
Marketing material
Accommodation
Meals
Beverages
Ticketing (POS)
Media and publicity
Billboard space
Internet
Airtime
Product Promotional Giveaways
The comedian has all but secured the 35 venues that meet the strict guidelines set by GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS and states that this is a wonderful opportunity for Zimbabwean companies looking to enjoy great visibility that this WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT will afford them. Ncube has published the sponsorship packages on his website www.carljoshuancube.com and can confirm that a South African production company has joined the team to film and produce a reality television series intended for the international television stations and will be available to view locally with extra content for the online community.
Carl Joshua Ncube believes that the WORLD RECORD attempt is more of a motivational tool being used by his Feel Good Zimbabwe initiative to bring laughter and goodwill to fellow Zimbabweans amidst so many challenges being faced and create opportunities for Zimbabwean companies and individuals to have a global outlook for their products and services.
